Oxbridge Whiteboard
A comprehensive digitalization system for the education sector, unifying students, teachers, school management, and point-of-sales into one connected platform across mobile and web.
Year :
2023
Industry :
Education
Client :
Oxbridge Technology
Project Duration :
6 Months

Problem :
The education sector still relies heavily on manual, disconnected processes — administrative tasks handled on paper, student and teacher information scattered across separate records, and school operations that rarely speak to one another. For the people working within it, this fragmentation translates into wasted time, avoidable errors, and a day-to-day experience that feels far more cumbersome than it needs to be. The central problem Whiteboard set out to address was this lack of a unified system: schools needed a way to bring their many moving parts together rather than managing each one in isolation.

Solution :
Whiteboard is a comprehensive digitalization system built to bring the entire education ecosystem into one connected environment. Rather than serving a single group, it was designed around everyone involved — students, teachers, school management, and even point-of-sales operations — so that each role works within the same coherent platform. This spans mobile applications for Android and iOS, a web admin platform for students, teachers, and POS management, and a landing page to represent the product. By digitalizing processes that were previously manual and linking previously isolated functions, Whiteboard replaces scattered routines with a single, streamlined system designed to make everyday school operations noticeably lighter to run.

Challenge :
The most significant challenge in this project was understanding and addressing the pain points of users and stakeholders in the education sector. As a result, the most critical phase of the work was conducting thorough research and developing features tailored specifically to their needs. This user-centric approach ensured that the final product genuinely addressed the real-world challenges faced by its target audience, rather than assumptions about them.
Spanning roughly five months, the project also demanded that I carry the concept through every stage — from developing the initial idea, features, user flows, naming, and logo design, all the way to producing the high-fidelity designs — while keeping the experience consistent across a wide range of platforms and user roles.
Summary :
Whiteboard was a particularly meaningful project for me, as it allowed me to address some of my own concerns about the education system and contribute to changes that matter in this space. Over the course of five months, it grew into a wide-reaching product covering mobile, web, and point-of-sales experiences — all unified under a single, user-centric vision. It stands as a strong example of taking a complex, multi-stakeholder problem and shaping it into one cohesive, thoughtfully designed system from concept to high-fidelity execution.
